The Ministry of SMEs and Startups held the "2023 ESG Management Innovation Competition" at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido on the 30th and rewarded eight small and medium-sized companies that took the lead in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management. 

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups also launched "ESG Joint Support Group" with six private evaluation agencies and the Small and Medium Venture Business Promotion Corporation to establish a site-oriented preemptive support system in consideration of the tightening of global ESG regulations such as due diligence on the supply chain of the European Union. 

The joint ESG public-private support group will provide customized diagnosis and on-site consulting for each type of company to small and medium-sized companies that are struggling to manage ESG, and support them in connection with government projects such as R&D and policy funds if necessary.
